New Ideas in Internet Marketing

There is a new wave of ideas hitting the online marketing community.  The new ideas aim to use traditional word-of-mouth marketing techniques, but do so over the internet.  The company behind many of these ideas is a new internet marketing company called Hypedrive.  They look to combine blogs, social networks, and other online communities into a successful buzz marketing strategy.  What they do is simply get people talking about your product, service, or website, and subsequently drive traffic to your site.  I find this to be a very interesting new strategy.  It is different from the traditional internet marketing techniques such as SEO, adwords, and banner ads.  These ideas will provide a much needed breath of fresh air for the internet marketing community.  I think that this company, Hypedrive, could really be on to something.  Word-of-mouth or buzz marketing can be one of the most powerful ways to market a product.  If they are able to successfully execute these buzz marketing campaigns online, this would be a great tool for anyone looking for an increase in traffic.
